Shades of Rhoda

Rhoda over at Southern Hospitality is such an inspiration to me...she is always making good use of her time. Not long ago she showed us how to cover a lamp shade...so the other day when I was looking at the drab, boring, white shades on my bedroom swing lamps, I thought of Rhoda! I grabbed some fabric and trim that I had purchased, and got busy! Oh... sooooo much better! Thanks a bunch, Rhoda!

Becky, thank you for telling me about this!!! I just love it, what cute fabric & the trim is perfect. Talk about a major transformation. I hope lots of people stop by to see your beautiful new lampshade & I hope that they'll take a whole new look at things that can be changed.

xo,
Rhoda

Hey, I like it! I, too, like the fabric and think the trim makes it. I can see it in your pretty blue and white bedroom. You have inspired me so much that I think I am going to get busy with the master bedroom. You might check back with me...:)

Hi Becky!

Love the lampshade redo.

I stopped at Target yesterday and checked out the $1 Stop. I bought a couple of the little journals and plan to alter them a bit. One is zebra and the other black with swirls. Thanks so much for the inspiration!

Hi Becky!
Thanks for visiting our blog :)
I've enjoyed your posts too. We have a red room in our house also. I love being in there.
I'm a big fan of Target - and the $ bins.
Take care -
Elizabeth

Very pretty! She is amazing with those lampshades. I printed out the instructions the first time she showed how to do it but I haven't worked up the nerve to actually try it yet!
